DAVID B. SALEWSKI

Dave has over thirty years of experience focusing on the following areas: Budget Preparation, Expenditure Reporting, Service Monitoring, Contract Administration, Operational Analysis, Mentoring and Team Building. He has an MSW with a Major in Social Policy from Rutgers University Graduate School of Social Work, and a BS with a Major in Economics and Minors in English and Psychology from St. Joseph’s University, Philadelphia, PA.

He worked at the New Jersey Department of Human Services as Bureau Chief, Contract Administration, and Division of Mental Health Services (DMHS) for 23 years.  His duties included management of New Jersey’s contracting unit for community Mental Health services, including the negotiation and monitoring of contracts, and coordination of budget plans, modifications, expenditures, and payments.  He has been involved in the creation and implementation of contracting documents, procedures, and monitoring systems for performance contracts with private, non-profit organizations.

In addition, Dave was a Program Development Specialist.  In that position, he was a Regional Coordinator and was responsible for the planning, negotiation, development, and monitoring of Mental Health services within a seven-county region. 
Dave was responsible for the development of protocols for DMHS program reviews of contracted organizations.  He also coordinated activities for DMHS claiming of additional Medicaid funding for the administration of selected Mental Health activities.
